clavis camps identity → 2025–2026
Clavis is a private creative school for children in Berlin, offering classes in drawing, animation, fashion design, and other disciplines. The school has been operating for over three years, gaining recognition across the city—making it the right time to establish a strong visual identity.

One of the school’s key offerings is its seasonal camps, held four times a year as intensive, interdisciplinary programs. These camps became the foundation for the school’s identity concept.
From the outset, we aimed to develop a visual language that would resonate with both children and their parents. The result is an identity built around students’ artwork, combined with a clear and structured design system for layouts and interfaces. This approach creates a bold, poster-like aesthetic—large, expressive, hand-drawn visuals that welcome new students and their families.

Each season is defined by its own color and mascot. These can evolve from year to year within the established system, while maintaining a consistent tone and recognizable style.
hallo!—a simple and friendly greeting—became an essential element of the communication system. Its slightly tilted form mimics a waving gesture. This subtle 3-degree tilt extends across the visual language, appearing in masks, typography, and other graphic elements.
The primary typeface is Aeroport by Brownfox Studio—a grotesque with a youthful, relaxed, and friendly feel. It also includes monospaced styles, which work particularly well for functional elements like schedules and timetables.
The school’s landing page fully reflects the identity, combining bold signature elements with subtle interface components. Stickers and street posters further extend the visual language, inviting children and their parents to join the upcoming season.
